This was also my first time making coconut butter and I’m hooked, its so simple and most importantly delicious! I find the coconut butter is great for making a raw slice as it really holds the ingredients together. To make the green monster slice i first had to make the coconut butter..

How To Make:

Layer one:

  1. Line a square baking tray with baking paper and pour a layer (about 1/2 mixture) of the coconut butter and spread evenly, place in fridge for about 20 minutes.

  2. Hey tiana, with the coconut butter is it only desiccated coconut or is something else added to make it liquid?? Loving your blogs x

    • Hey Ammie, yes it’s ONLY desiccated coconut in the food processor, it will become a creamy liquid after 10-15 mins. you don’t need to add anything to the coconut butter. First layer (the white layer) is just the plain coconut butter let that set in fridge. with the remaining coconut butter you make the second layer (the chocolate layer) you add the cocao, greens powder, maca powder, sultanas, and coconut water and mix then spread evenly on top of the first layer.

      Hope this helps!
