Raw Choc And Mint Mousse

ImageWhy Is This Good For Me?

Vegan/Gluten Free/Dairy Free/Processed Sugar Free

You may find it strange to put avocado in a dessert but believe it or not this works incredibility well. The avocado makes the mousse smooth, creamy and you wont even notice it’s there. Avocados are naturally full of fiber and vitamin E, potassium and are rich in monounsaturated fats that boost heart health and help lower blood pressure. Raw Cacao has been named a super-food! It contains high antioxidant activity which helps protect the heart and preventing cellular damage. Cacao is also a great source of magnesium, which helps with calcium absorption, metabolism, and protein. This is a great alternative to processed chocolate that is full of artificial flavours and sugars that are extremely unhealthy for you.

  1. Another quick and easy to make dessert! Loved it and even my wife who isn’t vegan thought it was amazing. I just have a question Tiana about the raw cacao. I could only find the Planet Organic cacao powder…is the raw cacao better?

    • Lovely to hear! So glad you both enjoyed it:) To answer your question, yes cacao powder is the same as I use. When I say raw I’m just trying to say use plain cacao powder and not cocoa or processed chocolate powders. The one your using is fine, there are many types out there, I am currently using loving Earth Raw Organic Cacao Powder.
      Hope this answers your question,
      Have a wonderful day!
