Why Is This Good For Me?
The benefits of making your own sauces is that you are in control of what goes in it! I was reading the ingredients of a well known sweet chilli sauce you can buy in the super market and the top ingredients are sugar, syrup, salt and food additives. I don’t know about you but they don’t seem very inviting to me! This inspired me to make my own healthy homemade sweet chilli sauce that is simple and super quick to make. Chilli’s are great to stimulate digestion and are a rich source of vitamin C. Capsicums help boost your metabolism and is an efficient weight loss tool as they have very few calories. Capsicum can also help to prevent indigestion by causing the secretion of digestive juices. This is a great recipe to make if you are trying to stay away from processed foods but still want to add a yummy sauce to your dish.
