I am a huge fan of the green smoothie and incorporate one into my diet everyday. Drinking your fruit and veggies is the quickest, easiest, and best way to detoxify your body and fill it with loads of vitamins and minerals. Green smoothies help to release toxins from your body because they are full of fiber which will also promote healthy weight loss. This green goodness smoothie is so nourishing for your body as it has naturally given me so much more energy and my skin glows from the inside out. Hope you try to incorporate this smoothie into your daily routine and feel the benefits for yourself you wont regret it!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup kale (cut off the stalk)
  • 1 frozen banana chopped
  • 1/2 avcocardo
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1/2 small cucumber chopped
  • 1/2 green apple chopped
  • 1/2 orange peeled and chopped
  • 2 medjool dates pitted
  • 1/2 coconut water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • piece of fresh ginger
  • 1/2 lemon peeled
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon spirulina

How To Make This:

  • Put all ingredients into a blender (try to put the spinach and kale at the top as these are the quickest to blend) and blend on high for 60 seconds or until all ingredients are combined.
  • Pour into a jar or glass and enjoy for breakfast or a healthy snack!
